Episode 5 (Part 1)
Once upon a time there was a kingdom. In that kingdom, there was an island. In that island, there was a tower. On the top of that tower, there was a male ermine.
As everyday, he would exit the tower and have a walk around it. As he walked, he reminded himself of his cruel fate: to be stranded on that island due to Queen Yuecchi's order.
The ermine stepped and broke another autumn leaf. The brown and orange colours that surrounded the place would make him feel melancholic. But, as long as he'd that secret to hide, he had to remain on the island.
The day was as ordinary as no other. The ermine’s name was "NegimaAniki", also known as Aniki for his closest friends: local animals. The Orca Ori, the other Ermine, Miroku; they'd greet him everyday, trying to cheer him up.
However, even if they were both ermines, Miroku was different from Aniki. So, as a friend, Miroku would do his best to help Aniki.
However, there was something Miroku could not offer and that was adventure on Aniki’s life. He wanted to meet people, but disobeying Queen Yuecchi's orders could represent a real threat to his life. So, leaving the island was forbidden.
One day, a foreigner arrived by boat at Aniki’s island. From his tower he could see the strange person arriving: that person put the wooden boat tied to a tree and strolled in the strange island. However, Aniki was not able to see or recognise the shadow, so he understood it could not be a guard or someone delivering a message. Aniki decided to search and find out who that mysterious person was.
However, as soon as he left the tower, he noticed how cold it was. The weather was quite wet, and the waves would drum in his ears. He automatically started to shiver but tried to forget such a feeling and kept going.
Hiding behind some bushes, Aniki watched the person from far. It was a very looking guy, with black hair and using a high school outfit. Aniki wondered why that person would be wearing such an outfit in a supposedly deserted island.
Due to the weather conditions, Aniki abruptly sneezed. Suddenly, a golden light came out from him, bringing light everywhere and attracting the foreigner’s attention. In a second, Aniki was not an ermine anymore but a mecha engineer called Kira Yamato. Watching this entire scene made the good-looking man kneel and surrender to great mecha-lord Kira.
The foreigner’s name was Shinichi Kudo, a high school detective. He was a great fan of mechas, and was on his quest to gather more information. So, looking at Kira, Shinichi invited him to join him and get out of the island. Forgetting Yuecchi’s orders, Kira decided to join Shinichi.
They entered the wooden boat. At first, Kira asked why such a fan of mecha would have a boat made of wood. Then, Kira volunteered to help to rebuild it, mecha-style. However, Shinichi declared it was not needed. Pushing a button, the boat was transformed in a super submarine, with high technology.
Kira looked around his seat. Many light and buttons were flashing, making him feel comfortable. Hardly had Shinichi mentioned they’d be joining the central submarine, a huge platform appeared in the main screen.
Landing inside the main submarine, Kira looked around. The terminal was huge and a few battleships were waiting to be assigned for more missions.
Shinichi called Kira to a tunnel, and, since it had windows, Kira could see the marine lives, giving him a feeling of happiness for being somewhere else. From far, Kira saw his friend Orca and waved at him, as a goodbye.
They did not take long to reach the main cabinet. In a second, Kira was surprised with four girls, who hurried at Shinichi. Edward Elric, LadyCs, Relax and Sakurazaki, they all wanted to know how the mission had gone, or if Shinichi was tired and needed something to eat. LadyCs, the calmest of the girls, noticed Kira. Realising a new person was there as well, Edward Elric made her way to the strange person, sinking him with questions about himself. Causing Shinichi to smile, Kira was surrounded by the girls. After answering he’d appreciate a simple glass of water, Relax tripped and the water made Kira all wet. The girls immediately would ask Kira if we needed an extra blanket, but Kira said it would not be necessary.
Suddenly, Kira sneezed. A golden light started to shine again and to everyone’s surprise a red-haired boy waved at them, apologizing for the sudden occurence: Shirou Emiya.
Terrified, and pressing a red button, Shinichi immediately threw Shirou out of the submarine. Shirou wondered about Shinichi’s action until he realised he could not breath underwater. So, as fast as he could, he desperately swam to the surface.
He screamed in joy as soon as he realised he could breath again… until he realised he was in the middle of the ocean. But suddenly, by miracle, he saw a huge ship coming closer. Screaming as loud as he could, Shirou managed to get the ship crew’s attention and was grabbed aboard. The problem was… it was a pirate’s ship. He was greeted with “Yars” coming from the crew. But he was so cold that he sneezed soon, causing the golden light to appear again and to appear under a different form: Heero Yuy, the Gundam pilot.
Expecting to be thrown away, Heero Yuy was surprised he was grabbed and sent to a large and light-dimmed room. Inside lied a person, who identified himself as Ryouba.
The Ryouba person did not loose time with pirate language. Grabbing a feather, he placed it under Heero’s nose, causing him to sneeze again. The next moment, a crying little teenager was looking at Ryouba, scared. His name was now Hunny-kun.
Returning to his sit, Ryouba opened a huge book, which he mentioned to be “The Animeb Dictionary”. Opening it in the first page, Ryouba asked Hunny-kun to approach and pointed at the first definition: A.N.U.S., also known as Aniki Name Unstability Syndrome. Without deviations, Ryouba directly said Hunny was suffereing from that syndrome. With tears on his eyes, Hunny-kun said it could not be possible, since he was such a good kid.
As Ryouba closed the book, dust came out, which caused Hunny to sneeze. The next second he was now a different character: Athrun Zala, a Coordinator. He could not escape his destiny and painfully recognised he did suffer from that syndrome.
Ryouba, seeing he had such an ability and strength to fight diseases, decided to put him on the ship. Admitting he had someone he wanted to meet, Athrun accepted the job he was given.
For the next days he worked in the ship. There, he befriended Davetaro, the funny guy, and Z, an out-going pirate who was constantly using pirate jargon.
But the person whom he'd truly recognise as a friend was Junichi Kanzaki, a brave pirate with whom he’d have serious conversations. Admitting he had also suffered from the ANUS syndrome, Junichi was able to give Athrun the courage to go on.
During the time he was in the ship, apart from being able to spend some quality time with Davetaro, Z and Junichi, he was given the opportunity to think about his life so far. Finally, he decided to start a quest, look for Queen Yuecchi and understand why he had been put on that stranded island for so long.
A few weeks later, they finally saw land. Thanking his fellow pirate friends, Athrun said goodbye and thanked, but Junichi decided to accompany him. So, the two friends were all by themselves in that big city.
The city they were in was old, but quite crowded. The fishermen were still working, even if the sun was almost setting. Suddenly, a huge man appeared in front of Athrun, making him trip. The man excused himself, but as he observed, he was in a hurry. For Junichi’s horror, Athrun had landed in a poodle and was about to sneeze. Quickly, they entered a dark building and, after covering his eyes because of the excess of golden light, Junichi saw Takahata-sensei, a mage and a teacher at a well-known academy: Mahora. Sighing, Junichi pointed out he should be more careful from that point on.
In that abandoned building, Takahata, pulling a box of cigarettes, explained Junichi he was in search of Queen Yuecchi, to have an explanation why he could not come out of the island. So, with their target defined, both friends decided to find Queen Yuecchi in the city.
But eating was a priority. Since Junichi had managed to collect some money from the work he had done all that time in Ryouba’s ship, they headed to a restaurant whose speciality was Ramen.
They were instantly welcomed by Aki, the assistant and major cook of that Ramen shop. With smiles and cheers, she served two plates with a lot of Ramen, enough to fill in their empty stomachs. Takamichi ate it in a second, happy with the quality of the food that had been served. Junichi ate it happily too but constantly worried about how much the size of his wallet would decrease after the meal.
Satisfied with the meal, Takamichi asked Aki about Queen Yuecchi’s whereabouts. She said she had no idea about it so she called someone on the top floor. FB, also known as Führer King Bradley, appeared and explained he was the owner of that place. The teenager promptly answered Takamichi’s questions.
Apparently, Queen Yuecchi’s castle was near. However, people never saw her, nor would her servants come out of the castle. However, as he pointed out, Queen Yuecchi was a great person and loved her people a lot.
After paying, Junichi and Takamichi got out of the Ramen restaurant. But soon,after walking only some metres, they were surrounded by guards but one of them approached the trapped friends. He identified himself as Zero Eiyuu, a servant of Queen Yuecchi, ordered to pick them and to carry them to the castle.
They had no other chance but to follow the orders. But for the two friends’ surprise, they were directly sent to Queen Yuecchi’s presence. As soon as the main room’s doors were opened, Takamichi and Junichi found a beautiful lady sat in the main chair. She had white and long air, and red eyes that would penetrate Takamichi’s soul. Looking at her, Takamichi could not recognise the Queen Protector of the city.
She approached him. Poking him in the head, she pulled out a bag and spread its contents on the top of his head. This immediately made him sneeze.
This time, there was not a golden light but a silver one. Takamichi’s body decreased size, as Junichi watched horrified. The next thing Junichi realised is that he had a Chachazero in front of him.
Queen Yuecchi cleared the way for the new servant and Chachazero obediently made her way through. Turning at Junichi, Queen Yuecchi smiled and stated she was not Yuecchi anymore, but Winter Len. Upon Yuecchi’s orders, Junichi was put in the dungeons of the huge castle. He was all alone.
Episode 5 (Part 2)
The metal bars were too strong to be thrown down. So, after bleeding from his hands, Junichi was forced to give up.
He felt like a bird trapped in a cage. The more the bird wanted to come out, the more he’d hurt himself. Suddenly, he remembered. He could indeed become a bird by reactivating his A.N.U.S. Syndrome.
So, he put his plan in practice. Focusing, he forgot everything Ryouba had taught him. That was not easy. To forget something that was so hard and painful to learn was just like giving up on everything he had fought to see. However, for his friend’s sake, that had to be done.
Concentrating, Junichi did his best and managed to indeed transform. Feeling his body change, a golden light illuminated the cell and the golden body became amazingly small. The next second, Junichi could not be seen anymore. Instead, there was a bird that quickly went through the jail bars. That bird was known as Birdy, or Torii amongst Japanese, and was a robotic pet bird.
Birdy quickly flew across the spacious halls. Almost a living soul would notice him, and those who would did not mind having the little animal wondering around. So, the bird had access to all places in the castle granted.
After looking in many non-important rooms, something got the bird’s attention. In one of the rooms of the top floor, the bird noticed Queen Yuecchi looking at a puddle in the middle of the empty and light-dimmed room. She was still in her White Len form, not the form known amongst her people. However, for the bird’s surprise, the Queen was watching her own reflection in a puddle, caused by the fall of a cup. Her eyes revealed a melancholic state of mind, confirmed by her tense expression.
This vision put Birdy in doubt. This was not the Queen he had heard of, who would care about the citizens. However, after singing a slight tone, Birdy remembered he had to find Chachazero… no matter what.
So, he exited the sad room and continued checking rooms. Finally, in a dark and quiet room, he found the robot he was looking for: Chachazero. The robot was if it had been frozen. Landing in the wet ground, the bird raised his wing and brought it to the back of the little head. After the golden light, there was no bird anymore, but Junichi again.
Junichi tickled Chachazero under her nose, but soon remembered robots don’t sneeze. At least Junichi’s A.N.U.S. Syndrome was easier to connect, by raising his hand to the back of his head, a gesture he was used to make due to his embarrassed attitude. So, putting Chachazero is a bag near him, Junichi abruptly exited the room, leaving a trail of knock-out soldiers. However, he hadn’t time to waste until their escape was discovering, so, forgetting his bad in the cell, Junichi hurried to exit the dangerous castle. However, since he was in the top floor, he jumped in panic from a window, landing in bushes, which scratched all his clothes.
Still inside the city, and using a cape he had found in the trash, Junichi counted the minutes he had. Soon, all guards would be looking for him, so he had to be fast.
He entered a mecha rebuilder shop. It had a strange name: The Mecha Brigade. Looking at the board, he saw the name of the manager: Legato Bluesummers. Not recognising the name, Junichi got in.
However, as he looked at the person, he recognised the eyes. It was Shinichi! However, the girls were not around. Pushing the cape top cover his face, Junichi hurried to see another mecha expert. So, he met Ghost of Razgriz.
Junichi’s request was a weird one: to install a sneezing program in Chachazero. Ghost of Razgriz raised his eyebrow, but attended to Junichi’s request. Therefore, with Junichi’s need to hurry, Ghost managed to create a fast code that would permit Chachazero to sneeze, thus changing.
However, Ghost wanted to test it. He was about to press a program when the entire store rumbled. Legato, fearing the worst, asked everyone to leave. Unfortunately, Junichi understood what was going on: they had been found.
Junichi did exactly what Legato told to do. Knowing what was going on, he didn’t want to wait and know what had caused the rumble. Instead, he decided to run. However, noticing Ghost of Razgriz, he felt the mecha expert could be necessary once again. Therefore, Ghost was grabbed by his arm and pushed towards the city’s exit.
They did not have problems to reach the forest. Ghost asked for explanation, but Junichi answered by pressing the sneezing program button. Ghost had to cover his eyes for a second, to see it had worked: in front of them stod a beautiful girl who introduced herself as Flay Allster, daughter of George Allster.
Ghost was stunned, as well as Junichi since he was not expecting a girl to appear. Neverless, explanations were quickly given to Ghost of Razgriz, who, after sighing, agreed to help them.
They all agreed to spend the night there, since they could not go back to the city. Junichi was not expecting to be safe for long, so they had to create a plan in little time. However, Flay felt they didn’t really have an aim to accomplish, so she decided to think herself of a plan.
However, as the next day went through, Junichi was amazed by Flay’s beauty. Soon, he could only blush in front of her, even though he kept in mind she was still the same friend. After confessing his love for her, she decided that physical feature was not an advantage for the group, so, wetting herself with some water, she sneezed and transformed in Shinn Asuka. Smiling at Junichi, and having his friend’s approval, Shinn asked for some time alone to think.
As Junichi had told his encounter with Queen Yuecchi, Shinn would also feel something was wrong with her. Therefore, Shinn decided he would understand what White Len’s true intentions were and try to help her.
The next day the three friends did not loose time and decided to enter the castle again. As they had walked some minutes, Ghost felt a shadow seeing them. The shadow did not loose time and introduced himself: his name was Paradox. From the other side, a female figure appeared and introduced herself as Dischord. Paradox spokle for the both: Shinn had to be taken to Queen Yuecchi’s presence immediately.
However, Shinn didn’t feel like presentations nor leaving his friens, so he stroke. For Junichi and Ghost’s horror, Shinn was brought to the floor in a matter of seconds. Sensing something approaching behind them, Ghost turned around but only saw a bomb of smoke coming in his direction, which spread a lot of stinky smoke.
Junichi only saw once chance. With Shinn in the ground, he put his hand behind his head and transformed into Sarah McDougall, with many archaeological artefacts behind her. Throwing them at Dischord and Paradox, with Ghost’s help, Sarah managed to keep them away, until they disappeared into the mist. After thanking his friends for helping him, Shinn stood up and prepared to continue the trip. He had to be more careful from that point on.
It did not take long until the next Queen’s fighter appeared. When they arrived at a glade, they saw a shadow staring at the sky. Hearing their footsteps, lockx turned at them introducing himself and requesting Shinn to accompany him. This time, Shinn was not as reckless as the previous one, so, asking Junichi and Ghost to stanbd back, he advanced some steps and caressed the bottom of his nose. Sneezing, and provoking the golden light to appear, Ghost and Junichi had a nosebleed: in front of them was Mai Shiranui, the fighter.
Mai, with the new abilities, advanced towards Lockx. However, she was not able to hurt him, nor touch him. Fortunately, he was not able either. However, something else was in Lockx mind. When sensing a paper fall from Lockx’s pocket, Mai quickly grabbed it, seeing a picture of a high schooler, Chiu-san. Lockx blushed, which caused Mai to grin. Adjusting her outfit and hairstyle, a Chiu-adapted person appeared in front of Lockx, and by seducing him, he blushed and was easily defeated with his defence down.
Ghost and Junichi clapped. Mai sneezed again, transforming in Shuichi’s Lover to avoid any conflicts with Junichi. Saying they should hurry to meet Queen Yuecchi, Shuichi’s Lover was stopped by Ryouba, who amazingly appeared in front of them. He had to reveal Queen Yuecchi’s secret.
Episode 5 - Part 3
Ryouba did want to accompany the three fighters, along with his crew. Junichi and Shuichi’s lover met once again with the amazing amount of pirates, mainly Z and Davetaro who greeted them with “Yarrs” or “Arrs”.
Ghost just smiled, but was pushed along with the crew of pirates.
While commemorating with the other pirates, Shuichi’s lover thought about what he had just been told. If that was Queen Yuecchi’s problem, he could understand it perfectly. She needed help to overcome it.
However, even wanting to get some rest, Shuichi’s Lover was not permitted to do so. The pirates kept him awaken all night long, always picking on him and teasing him for his physical appearance. Indeed, this was not such a good transformation. But he thought it was better than being Mai.
The day started wonderfully. The sun rose, so everyone prepared to battle. Ryouba just had to do one thing first: to throw a bucket of water to Shuichi’s Lover. Sneezing, Shuichi’s Lover transformed into Negi Springfield, the 10-year-old mage. They were finally ready for battle.
The plan was simple: the pirates would create a mess so that Negi, Junichi and Ghost’s entry would be easier. So the plan was quickly put in action.
The pirates invaded the town, not destroying everything, but hurrying to the castle. They were about to destroy the castle’s walls when two shadows appeared at the top. One of them Negi recognised; it was Zero Eiyuu. The another one revealed himself to be Imadori, the D-follower. They were Queen Yuecchi’s knights, ready to protect the fortress. Z replied two knights would not beat the pirates until he saw a huge army appearing from the castle’s gates.
Ordering his troops to advance, both Imadori and Zero joined the fight. With all distracted and the castle’s gates opened, Negi, Junichi and Ghost hurried inside. However, as they stepped inside, they found Paradox, Dischord and Lockx inside. But, instead of wanting a fight, Paradox spoke for the three, saying Queen Yuecchi was waiting for them in the main hall.
Negi accepted Paradox and went guided by him. The other two followed Negi, being watched closely by Dischord and Lockx. They soon found a huge door, which was opened by Paradox. Looking inside, Negi finally saw White Len.
Sensing Negi, the Queen stood up. She blamed Junichi for stealing her servant and Negi for exiting the island. However, she had not time to blame Ghost of Razgriz for something since she was hit by Negi.
Grinning, White Len stood up and cleaned the dust of her clothes. The final battle had finally begun.
Junichi and Ghost wanted to stop, but they were stopped by Dischord and Lockx. Paradox explained that Negi was the only one that could break the depression White Len was going through. So, they had to wait.
Negi used mainly wind magic. White Len’s magic was stranger: it used many different types. In the entire main hall, they would blast each other, so Ghost had to create a magic technological field to protect the group.
After a few exchange of power, Negi was hit. Falling in the ground, he could not avoid being hit twice, so Junichi saw a falling knocked-out body. However, his friend’s interference was not necessary as a shadow grabbed Aniki. Junichi had seen him already, but Ghost was the first to recognise. It was Logetao Bluesummers.
Behind him, his assistants were there: Relax, Edward Elric, LadyCs and Sakurazaki. Taking out her katana, Sakurazaki was the first to strike while Relax volunteered to do the healing job in Negi. However, White Len was too strong and fast for her, so she dodged and hurried at Legato.
White Len had to dodge Edward Elric’s baton. Grinning again, White Len was surprised to see a strange powder coming from Lady Cs’s hand, which created a cloud. It was laughing powder.
White Len burst out laughing. Instead, Negi sneezed a lot, going through many transformations. He transformed in Kyon, the highschooler, Netto Hikari, Phoenix Wright and Kazuma. When he stopped sneezing, he felt he was very small. Relax, Legato and LadyCs were staring at him. He was once again negimaAniki, the ermine.
White Len was laughing so hard her eyes started to get wet. Profiting the opportunity, Ghost and Junichi went to her and grabbed her arms. Then, glancing at Paradox, they saw his head movement towards Aniki.
The ermine approached slowly due to its tiny feet. Finally landing in White Len’s shoulder, he cleaned her tears provoked by laughter. He hugged her in her neck. Declaring it was okay to have the A.N.U.S. syndrome, White Len cried, this time for real. After saying he understood her, Aniki was blinded by a light blue colour coming from Queen Yuecchi. He tripped and landed in the cold floor in his face, but, as he raised his face to see his Queen, Aniki found a smiling face.
Queen Yuecchi was now in her Dizzy form. Laughing and grabbing Aniki by his hands, she twisted in the saloon. Hurrying to the room were Ryouba, Z, Davetaro, Zero Eiyuu and Imadori, who kneeled when seeing their Queen.
She then confessed why she had kept Aniki stranded in the island for so long. She just did not want to have her secret discovered, so she had to keep all trails away. She then apologised at Aniki, but the ermine bowed at his Queen, so did everyone else in the room. Taking her hands, Aniki thanked Queen Tuecchi for protecting him in the island, just like a true sister would do.
It was at that time when LadyCs appeared with a huge document. Stepping forward, Ryouba helped LadyCs opening it. It was Animeb’s mini family tree.
According to Ryouba, all the living beings in the Animeb Universe where brothers and sisters, so Queen Yuecchi was truly Aniki’s sister. Also, the A.N.U.S. syndrome was genetic, so that was why everyone would suffer from this. Therefore, Queen Yuechi invited all animebers to dinner in the castle.
Later on, Miroku, the ermine still staying in the stranded island, received a phone call. Lighting a cigarette and inviting Orca to hear to it, they excited heard Aniki’s adventure and his desire to stay with Dizzy. Reading animeb’s family tree, Aniki declared Orca was also there, but Miroku wasn’t. With a plate with good food to eat, Aniki had to end the call, leaving an angry Miroku behind.
Except for Miroku, who was not in the family tree, everyone lived happily ever after.
The End
The End? No!
Ryouba raised his hands. “Ohayo Animeb! This is a whole new show: Animeb Channel! I am your idol, Ryouba!”
LadyCs waved at the little screen. “I am the assistant, LadyCs. Nice to meet you!”
Ryouba turned the screen at him again. “Since the 5th episode has ended, the first season of Animeb has ended as well. So, we have a little gift to offer…”
“Are those Pancakes?” LadyCs asked excited.
Ryouba glared at her. Then, he gained his carefree attitude again. “No, it is a chart saying which characters have appeared so far! Look!”

LadyCs smiled. ”Wow... amazing! So many characters!”
Ryouba sighed. “Why do I have to be always a pirate? I don’t even know how to use pirate jargon…” He paused. “The other day I told that to the writer and look what the writer just did! Now, I am a mascot of a stupid channel!” Ryouba started punching the table. “And now the writer just did a crappy ending! What kind of work is the writer doing? Is this the type of work the writer does for getting paid???”
The ending song started and Ryouba started smiling again.
“Oh no… we have to go! But send PMs to tell your opinion…“ He whispered. “And to change the crappy ending…” He then recovered his normal tone. “We’ll be waiting for them!”
LadyCs hold the camera. “And for some pancakes!”

No, not the End yet.
“Why am I not in the family tree?” Miroku was smoking in a chair. “Discrimination against ermines, is it? So… there will be the time for a Tale of my own: the Kingdom of the Ermines!”
